Luxury Camper Furniture at Busfest this Weekend

Our new range of luxury camper furniture will allow customer’s to enjoy the installation and conversion process themselves, without having to build there own furniture.

For many, converting is a hobby, but it can be a difficult, time consuming and expensive task. Leisure Hubs understand that the conversion process is as exciting as it is costly; that’s why we’re now designing furniture which you can easily install at home.

On the flip-side, paying for a full conversion complete with appliances is even more expensive, so in the interest of saving money (especially in the current financial climate) buying furniture tailored to your van and installing it by hand is not only easy but economical.

So how do you get started? All you need to begin creating the camper of your dreams is give us a call and book a consultation either face to face or over the phone, we’ll then measure up your van’s interior and discuss with you the exact specifications, finish and appliances you desire.

We will then build furniture to your exact requirements, making sure that it fits flush with your vans interior for an easy install.

We offer an unrivalled range of appliances, real wood veneer and laminate finishes, as well as stunning Corian work tops, so your camper furniture parallels the quality of a modern home kitchen.

Designed by our team of experts from high quality lightweight ply, the furniture comes ready built for a simple install, but we do have plans to design a flat pack variant which can be shipped throughout Europe.

If you would like to transform your van into a luxury camper but are worried about the money you could spend on handing over your beloved vehicle to a converter then look no further; Leisure Hubs deliver a premium design that you can install at home.

Leisure Hubs is displaying its new furniture range at Busfest this weekend (6th - 8th September). We hope to see you all there!

For more information regarding our camper furniture please visit our website or book a consultation over the phone.

Vans For Sale!

After a little tweaking and a couple more shows under our belt, both our Toffee Brown T5 and Black T5 are for sale once again.

With the recent good weather and the beautiful days we spent at this year’s Camper Jam, we’re certainly in the mood for campvanning, as we’re sure you are, and what better way to do it then in one of our Leisure Hubs campers.

With our recent developments purely in the furniture department of the business, it’s finally time to let our beloved campervans go to make way for our latest venture, as we already have a portfolio packed with exclusive furniture designs.

It’s no secret that purchasing a ready converted campervan can be expensive, but in the interest of moving forward with our furniture designs, we’re offering our two show vans each at a knockdown price.

Both being fresh from Camper Jam means that they’re in great shape as we’ve made every effort to make sure they’re in top condition for the public as well as for resale.

Our Toffee Brown LWB T30 140 is the ultimate in comfort and style, combining an exclusive interior set up which differs greatly from the standard “out of the box” furniture arrangements you get with most converters.

Cleverly designed to make full use of the living space, our Toffee Brown van is complete with a side facing electric bed with the kitchen unit and storage located at the rear, providing a look which is not only exclusive but also practical and functional.

With the kitchen unit and storage all located at the rear, the camper’s appliances are confined to one area, giving you more space to relax and segregate yourself from the kitchen area; perfect when camping with friends and family as to not get under each others feet.

As well as being aesthetically pleasing with its two tone quilted leather interior and stunning Tigerwood veneer, the van is complete with a 39litre fridge, a full length wardrobe, storage in the rear with tambour doors, a side facing electric bed, vanity unit, pop up plugs and USB ports and a concealed coffee maker which drops down mechanically by the flick of a switch.

Providing a stunning combination of functional features and truly unique styling, the Toffee Brown T5 is in a league of its own and is guaranteed to provide any campervan enthusiast years of enjoyment.

Priced at £38k and with just 1300 miles on the clock, the van has only been used to drive to and from shows; so the lucky buyer will be getting a virtually brand new van, full converted with some of the best features on the market at a bargain price.

Moreover, we’re selling our Deep Pearl Black T5 Transporter with our exclusive heated rainforest shower built into the tailgate, an innovation in itself and a steal for 35k with just 3800 miles on the clock.

First let’s concentrate on the vans most popular feature, the heated shower. Our black van has seen several shows throughout the UK and our heated rainforest shower always steals the show; people just cannot believe how we managed to pack a full functioning heated shower into the tailgate.

With its stylish fixed head and easy to use design, the shower supplies a multitude of practicality, whether staying fresh while taking a long trip in the UK or Europe, using it to clean mucky dogs after a walk across the countryside or to clean surfboards or sports equipment, the shower is a simple, compact solution.

Of course, this van isn’t just about the shower, it also has a living area which is packed with features including a pop up TV which is recessed into the Corian work surface and is revealed via an electric mechanism and can then be swivelled to face the seating area (which is also a comfy rock and roll bed).

As well as being able to relax in front of the TV, the interior also offers a fully functioning kitchen including a hob and sink combi, 39litre drawer fridge and generous storage for all your essentials; making the campervan as convenient and comfortable as possible with enough features to mirror the functionality of a modern home kitchen.

Both our campervans are the highest quality designs, and these two show vans have lead us to several conversion opportunities for various clients thanks to their show stealing presence at campervan shows within the UK.

Having served us proud its now time to let another keen camper to enjoy each and every benefit of not just these great vans but also the campervan lifestyle which goes with them.

For more information and the chance to buy either of these vans you can visit our listings on the Motorhome and Caravan Trader, Piston Heads and Ebay…

Classic VW Camper Conversion

A new van has arrived in our workshop and it’s a fan favourite! This old VW camper is the vehicle which originated the concept of modern campervanning to this day, with its innovative design pioneered by hippies during the sixties.

Of course the old type 2 was available in several other practical options, as a panel van, flatbed pick-up truck and mini bus, all of which are a rare find in today’s vintage car scene.

This old so and so sitting in our workshop is set for a full interior conversion, with our trademark luxury furniture and state of the art features, as well as full carpeting and flooring; breathing new life into this classic design.

Once we begin work, we’ll keep you updated with our progress, as it sure is an interesting project worth talking about. Why not drop a comment below and tell us what you think should go in this van? Or maybe you've converted your own camper and would like to share your favourite pictures?

As passionate camper converters, we're very excited about finally getting our hands on a classic camper to convert with the Leisure Hubs palette of ideas.

If you would like more information about our premium van conversion service, please visit our website, give us a call or even visit our workshop in Tyseley, Birmingham to check out our show vans.

Leisure Hubs Needs You!

At Leisure Hubs we’re lucky enough to do a job that we love and are passionate about.

Many people choose to convert their own vans at home as a continuous project and a hobby, and we must say, we agree that converting van is a hobby if you enjoy getting your techy cap on and tinkering with your interior.

Not everybody can convert a van from home, and that’s why we provide a service to make your dreams come true using the best the market can offer.

We’re now looking to expand our business further and employ a new campervan converter that has the same passion for vans as we do.

The applicant must be well schooled in conversions, have a good understanding of Leisure Hubs as a brand and of course be crazy about campers!

If you think you’ve got what it takes to turn something as enjoyable as converting to your day job then please reply to our gumtreeadvert!

Floor Rail Systems

If you follow our blog, Facebook or Twitter, it’s pretty obvious that we’re all about campers, camping and conversions.

By having a real passion for campers we strive to stay in line and ahead of current design trends, whether it’s with unique furniture concepts, materials or technology.

Two of our latest conversions have followed a similar trend, utilising an Unwin floor rail system.

Floor rail systems are traditionally used to house wheelchairs in your vehicle, providing a secure system to hold a chair in place.

Recently, we’ve used Unwin floor rail systems in our conversions for customers who are looking for the ultimate versatile solution.

The beauty of floor rail systems is the many options they provide, from allowing you to add seats, to creating further boot space for you to carry bikes and extra luggage.

Fitting the rail system in our latest conversion
By simply adding seats to a slide rail system you can transform your van from a crew cab with generous boot space in the rear, to a camper with a huge living space as soon as the seats are slid back into position.

Of course, this also leaves plenty of space for a rock and roll bed, converting your van into the ultimate living area, ideal for camping.

Moreover, adding rails also allows you to add and remove seats/beds, giving you the option to use your camper as a van during the week –may it be for work or general transportation- and as a traditional campervan at the weekend.

With so much versatility to be gained from adding a floor rail system to your van you can be safe in the knowledge that your camper can be chopped and changed with minimal effort to suit your situation, a much needed feature in the ever-changing modern world.

If you would like more information on our Floor Rail Systems then please visit our website.

Brand New Fiesta Kitchen Pod Available Now

Our side venture Camper Pamper is going from strength to strength, with us constantly developing new custom pods to meet the demands of our customers.

Despite having a wide range of camping pod designs readily available on our website, nothing beats chopping and changing current designs to suit your specification.

The beauty of Camper Pamper kitchen pods is that they are made right here in our workshop in Birmingham, allowing you complete control of your perfect pod.

Thanks to our versatile service, our customers have graced us with new designs which we have then gone on to name and add to our website to inspire other customers bespoke kitchen pod designs.
The Fiesta Kitchen Pod

The Fiesta kitchen pod is our latest example of this, a slight variation on one of current designs made to suit the specifications of one customer.

A variant of our very popular Gala pod, the Fiesta kitchen pod concentrates more of its efforts on the hob and sink and more integrated storage.

Replacing the built in fridge from the Gala kitchen pod with an additional cupboard and taking away the easy-carry handles, the Fiesta kitchen pod is a stylish concept which looks more like a permanent furniture fixture in a campervan.

Available in a huge range of finishes in both its quality wooden structure and either Corian or laminate unit tops, the unit is fully bespoke and can be manufactured to our customers personal tastes.

For more of our Camper Pamper kitchen pod designs you can visit our website, select a pod, choose from our range of options and proceed to the check out or simply give us a call and let us know your ideas.
