Roof Bed

Sometimes the capacity of a campervan can be overlooked; when installing furniture and a bed, sometimes you can be under the misconception that your beloved camper will hold an entire family.

With two seats in the front and two in the back (with an expendable bed) the initial impression is that the van can play home to four people.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case with the majority of van conversions as the accurate berth of a campervan should be based on how many the van can sleep rather then transport.

That’s where a sleeping roof comes in, to gain a true 4 berth campervan, a roof bed is the ideal solution for sleeping a family of 4.

An extension to the traditional pop top roof, a sleeping roof houses a further two people, using an easy to use mechanism which allows for additional space for both people and camping equipment, leaving your camper clutter free.

We’re frequently asked by customers to develop a pop top roof for their conversions. A pop top creates the perfect living space, allowing for additional head room, ideal for cooking and general use.

By adding a roof bed, you are increasing the capacity of the camper two fold, a worthwhile purchase to make when space is already at a premium.

When planning your conversion consider how much your camper can truly hold and think about the benefits an additional roof bed can have on your camper. It is the equivalent of buying a two bedroom house when a four bedroom is just a little bit more!

Camper Pamper Designs Protected by ACiD

Both Leisure Hubs and Camper Pamper strive to develop truly unique designs, that’s why our campers are not the standard conversion design which you can find with other companies.

Our aim is to create something totally different from the norm but with even more functions, technology and style than the rest of the market.

After we completed our first couple of Camper Pamper kitchen pods it became apparent we were on to something special. Our background in furniture design allowed us to create premium furniture, precision made on a CNC, by the best craftsmen and using the best materials.

With designs which set us aside from general market trends, we decided to work alongside ACiD (Anti Copying in Design) and get each of our designs recognised as our own work., free from copying, so you can be safe in the knowledge you are getting an original design.

We believe that when you’re buying into camper furniture you should be buying into a product exclusive to your van, that’s why we provide customisable options for each of our kitchen pods; with a range of finishes, features and designs on offer to bespoke your kitchen pod to suit not only your camper but your lifestyle.

The ACiD ethos is simple, the company sets out to work with design talents and provide them with the protection they deserve to prevent other companies and individuals steeling their designs.

The Colina ktichen pod with floral finish and concealed coffee maker is  exclusive to Camper pamper
The company is built up of a coalition of trade enforcement agencies, all with the same passion for preventing intellectual property theft in the UK, making the company a highly prestigious and credible affiliation to Camper Pamper.

With a comprehensive range of unique concepts, Camper Pamper intends on providing the best in kitchen pod designs, and our protection from ACiD adds even more exclusivity, leaving our customers aware that when they purchase one of our pods they are not only purchasing a pod but an original design.

Campervans for Sale

As you may have noticed, we are selling three of our campervan conversions to give us a little more space in the workshop to be working on customer’s vans.

Our three vans for sale plus a customers van ready for conversion outside our office in Tyseley, Birmingham

Two of the vans are done and dusted and have done the rounds at various shows and generated a lot of interest; especially our Toffee Brown T5 which featured in this month’s Campervan and Commercial magazine.

With so much on offer we thought we’d deliver you a brief guide to the campervans for sale, as our latest delivery, the T5 Transporter 4Motion is yet to be converted.

We’ll begin with the 4Motion as it is the latest addition to our workshop. Currently we are working on several vans for customers and so the 4Motion is still patiently waiting to be ‘tarted up’ by our craftsmen.

This is great news for anyone interested in purchasing a brand new van, as we can bespoke the van to your exact specifications rather then buying an already converted design.

As a standard van the 4Motion includes: Xenon headlights, cab comfort pack, leather steering wheel, gearknob and gaiter, door mirrors, tailgate with window, body coloured bumpers, heated rear window with wash/wipe, cruise control, fog lights and air con.

As well as a huge choice of interior designs, the full converted van can include (but not limited to): tinted side windows, Kenwood VW double din stereo with rear camera, Rockford Fosgate sound system with upgraded door speaker, amp and removable subwoofer, PUNF insulation, sound deadening barrier matting, Altro floor, real wood veneer furniture with Corian work surfaces with swing out table, Led dimmable downlights, Webasto diesel heater with timer, motorised pop up 19” TV, Combi hob and sink unit with hot and cold water, 39 litre drawer fridge with Corian fascia, built in window curtains, USB charging ports, heated rainforest/surf shower, Bebb certified bed system and under bed storage, passenger swivel turntable, plus more

Next up we have the Toffee Brown T5 Transporter Campervan Conversion. This design featured in this month’s Campervan and Commercial magazine and was hugely flattered in the write up which we were very pleased with.

The van features a stunning two tone quilted leather interior and a range of features which make life in the great outdoors all the more comfortable including: tinted side windows, Kenwood VW double din, Rockford Fosgate sound system with upgraded door speaker, subwoofer and amp, sheep’s wool insulation, sound deadening barrier matting, Altro floor, full leather dashboard, door trims and headliner, resprayed matching cab interior, twin swivel two tone leather seat, side facing electric bed, U shaped real wood veneer furniture, full length wardrobe with a curved door, Corian work surfaces, Motorised drop down Nespresso coffee maker, pop up power and USB plug, vanity cabinet with drop down door in Sycamore veneer, top loading Dometic 39 litre fridge, Can hob and sink combo, Tambour doors and generous storage for deck chairs, BBQ etc underneath the hob and sink unit.

If that wasn’t enough, we are selling the first van we converted, the originator of the surf shower and all round stunner packed with features.

Our Black T5 Transporter is at the forefront of campervan design, with features such as: tinted side windows, Kenwood double din stereo with rear camera, Rockford Fosgate sound system with upgraded door speaker, subwoofer and am, PUNF insulation, sound deadening barrier matting, Altro floor, real wood veneer furniture with Corian work surfaces with swing out table, LED dimmable downlights, Webasto diesel heater with timer, motorised pop up 19” TV, Combi hob and sink unit with hot and cold water, 39 litre drawer fridge with Corian facsia, built in window curtains, USB charging ports, heated rainforest shower, Bebb certified bed system with leather trim and under bed storage, leather captains seats and passenger swivel turntable.

If you’re looking for a newly converted van or have a design in your head for your own personalised conversion, then check out our vans on our website, eBay and Pistonheads listings.

The latest addition: the VW Transporter T5 4Motion

As you may already know, we are selling our first 2 show vans, both of which are brand new, full converted and with barely any miles on the clock, ready for someone to make a special purchase.

As we will soon be waving goodbye to our trusty Campers, we’re saying hello to our latest purchase which is set for a full conversion; a VW Transporter T5 4Motion.

At Leisure Hubs, the focus is on adventure, providing conversions which aid exploration and new experiences with comforting features which provide a home away from home.

The 4Motion adds even more to this experience, providing a 4 wheel drive equivalent to our other vans; allowing you to tackle harsher weather conditions, which the UK has recently become so accustomed to (unfortunately).

The standard van is of course a luxury vehicle in itself with air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, cab comfort pack and Xenon headlights, but as always, we've got to go one step better and give it a full conversion.

As with all our conversions we are aiming yet again to reach new levels of comfort and convenience, combining some of the best aspects of our first two vans to create a complete Leisure Hubs experience.

The van can be expected to feature (but not limited to): appearance pack, tinted side windows, Kenwood VW double din stereo with rear camera, Rockford Fosgate sound system, PUNF insulation, Sound deadening, Altro floor, TV, hob and sink combo, fridge, surf shower, bed and much more.

We are currently advertising this van in the Motorhome and Caravan Trader, on Ebay and on our website, as we are looking to sell earlier than we begin the conversion, giving the customer the freedom to choose a range of features which suit their lifestyle.

If you would like to see more of this van then please visit our website.

Toffee Van Tour

After giving you a guided tour of our last prototype interior we've decided to update you with our latest features for those who couldn't see it in the flesh at the NEC.

Our Toffee Brown T5 makes a serious statement in its design, with quilted leather seats that trend throughout the front and rear of the van and stunning natural wood veneer panelling throughout, the van not only offers an abundance of features but a high quality finish to boot.

As you can see in the picture to the right, there is a range of features tucked away neatly into the curvaceous panelling  As well as integrating masses of storage, the interior also houses a motorised coffee maker, perfect for those early mornings.

Moreover, your morning wouldn't be complete without your daily grooming regime, nobody wants to face the open road or the glorious British countryside with a misplaced hair or designer stubble; so to the right of our leather seating is an all inclusive vanity unit which has everything you need for the morning.

As you can see at the back of the van is the kitchen complete with storage, a Corain work surface, hob and sink combo and top loading fridge – with so much storage on offer the van is ideal for BBQing, with enough room for chairs, fold away table, plates, utensils and of course the hob to compete with the ever changing British weather!

The complete kitchen allows so much versatility when camping, enabling you to cook healthy meals, store fresh food and wash up easily, giving you some of the comforts a modern home kitchen can provide.

With the noted improvements from the previous interior let us know what you think of our current van. Does this interior suit your lifestyle? If not, which features would and what technology would you like to see in the future?

Camper Pamper Pods

You may have heard us banging on about Leisure Hubs for the last few days, so, in the words of Monty Python, now for something completely different…

Well, not entirely different, but certainly a great new concept to consider if you already own a van or are looking to buy a van for multiple purposes.

Camper Pamper pods are the brain child of Leisure Hubs, promising all the luxury and function of our bespoke van conversions in the form of easy to use pods, which slide in and out of your van, with minimal fuss and maximum practicality.

Going camping for the weekend can be a messy, tiring affair. Cooking food can be tedious, constantly battling the elements to fry bacon and having to buy fresh food to be cooked immediately, or tinned or packaged delights to be consumed at an unhealthy rate.

The Pods we provide, extinguish all of the above, and promise a unit with all the creature comforts you need to prolong your stay for as long as you wish.

Ok, let’s start from the top, the kitchen unit top to be precise. With a stylish glossy black finish and inset 2 ring Smev hob and sink combo, the unit has the ability to rustle up an omelet, fry bacon or even seer a fillet steak to perfection, while the sink is at hand for all the washing up; taking away some of the worst inconveniences of camping in a flash and can be tidily tucked away with help of the hinged cover.

Time to throw away the cold tins of beans and Jaffa cakes, you can finally eat fresh everyday when away, with the use of our built in Waeco CR50 refrigerator with consumption compressor.

The high quality fridge provides enough storage space for all your basic needs, with its 48 litre fridge and 5 litre freezer: great for storing food, water and of course alcohol…well, you are on holiday!

If you are of the inclination to fill the built in fridge with beer and wine then fear not…the subtle panel in the centre of the pod conceals the Nespresso Pixie Coffee Maker. Tucked away neatly using a sliding mechanism, the hidden coffee maker is both subtle and functional, saving space which is essential when developing pods for more compact spaces.

In addition to this, the Camper Pamper pod has numerous design features to control your power usage, with dial to monitor battery power and a control panel for the fridge, tap and pump, the practical pod, has everything to keep you aware of power usage and make your journey a smooth one.

The high quality pod is constructed from laminated 15mm popular ply, for a structure which is not only stylish but sturdy, a factor which is often overlooked when developing mobile units.

With its easy to use design features and abundance of style, Camper Pamper pods are an exciting new addition to your current van, promising all the luxuries of a home kitchen fitted neatly into the back of your vehicle.
